Google’s Android holds 86% of the smartphone market share.

According to a press release, the worldwide smartphone shipment crosses 300 million units in August 2014. Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android were on more than 96% of the devices, shipped to the customers. However, Google’s Android has been the main operating system used in nearly 255 million units out of those 300 million. It is not strange that Google’s Android has 85% of the smartphones market share.
